2021 Tackle Registration

It’s been a long time but we’re excited to say that the moment we’ve been waiting for is finally here. We are finally able to register players for the 2021 MMFA Tackle Football Season.  To assist Football Manitoba in expediting the opening registration, we have reverted to the two-step registration process.

Step One – Register online with Football Manitoba at this link.  Here you’ll be able to pay the Football Manitoba, Football Canada, and League portion of the fee.

Step Two – Once the Club has been notified of your registration, you’ll be sent a time to attend for equipment pick-up.  Timing for this is entirly dependedn to on when Football Manitoba inform us.  When you come to equipment fitting, please bring either cash or cheque for the club portion of the fee.  Due to the uncertinty that surrounded this season and the shortened nature of the program, we decided to keep the Club fee at $100 for all age categories for this year.

For anyone unable to complete Step One of the registration process because you don’t have a credit/debt card or because you’re using one of the financial assistance programs, please contact the club using the contact form.

We welcome anyone to register, however based on the pre-registration numbers for Bantam and U-18 it is unlikely that we’ll have sufficint numbers to field a team.  If you fall into this category, you can still register  for the 2021 Tackle season using this link, and if we can’t field a team, then the MMFA will place you with a team that does require players.

In addition to the Club fee, when you come to your equipment fitting session, we ask that you bring the following:

  • Equipment deposit cheque for $350.00
  • Equipment cleaning deposit cheque for $50.00
  • Fundraising cheque for $150.00
  • Volunteer cheque for $150.00

Note:- Cheques should be dated for November 5, 2021.  Cheques will only be cashed if the volunteering/fundraising requirements are not met or if there is damage (beyond wear and tear) or if the equipment is not returned.  Eqipment cleaning cheque will only be cashed if equipment is returned without being cleaned.

As always we are looking for volunteers to fill key roles within each team.

  • Team Coaches
  • Team Trainer
  • Team Manager

If you are interested in any of these volunteer positions, please contact the club using the contact form.

Financial Assistance Through Jumpstart and KidSport Manitoba:

  • Jumpstart and KidSport are national charities administered by Canadian Tire and Sport Manitoba respectively that helps to remove barriers and assist less fortunate children to participate in sport – so all kids can play.
  • Based on demonstrated need, assistance is available to children between the ages of 5 and 18 to help offset the cost of registration fees.

Registration costs include all equipment, except for cleats (footwear) and mouth guards. Football is affordable! If you would like to find out more information regarding playing or coaching football, please contact us today.
