Anyone can play Spring Flag Football – no previous football experience is necessary!
Play in one of the following age groups:
- Raiders U10 (2015, 2016, and 2017)
- Raiders U12 (2013 and 2014)
- Raiders U14 (2011 and 2012)
- Raiders U16 (2009 and 2010)
When you register please use the appropriate team code to ensure you are placed on an Eastman Raiders team.
Practices will be held in Steinbach. All games are played in Winnipeg. Schedule to be announced by Football Manitoba.

Flag football is a variation of tackle football, which everyone is familiar with, but does not require equipment and is a non-contact sport. It is also one of the fastest growing sports around the world! Why? It’s a fast-paced game, easy to learn without the concerns sometimes associated with contact sports. Best of all it is incredibly fun. Many of the same skills needed in tackle football are also used in flag football, such as throwing, catching, hand-offs and running…all in a safe and welcoming environment.
The goal of the league is to provide an environment that enables children to learn and have fun. They will experience and adopt the principles of teamwork, discipline, dedication, and sportsmanship.
