Financial Assistance Through KidSport:

  • KidSport is a provincial charity administered by Sport Manitoba that helps to remove barriers and assist children in participating in sports so all kids can play.
  • Based on demonstrated need, assistance is available for children between the ages of 5 and 18 to help offset the cost of the registration fees.

You can visit the KidSport website for more information and to apply for assistance online.

IMPORTANT – IF YOU PLAN TO USE THE KIDSPORT PROGRAM, PLEASE CONTACT US USING THE FORM ON OUR CONTACT PAGE BEFORE STARTING THE REGISTRATION PROCESS.

Other financial assistance may be available if you are not eligible for the KidSport program.  Please contact us using the form on our Contact page before starting the registration process.

Important Refund Information

IMPORTANT – Fee refunds will only be granted:

  • If there are insufficient number of registrations within an age group to form a team as set out in MMFA by-law A6.04 or
  • If the number of players registered within an age group exceeds the maximum roster limit set out in MMFA by-law A6.05, but the number is not great enough to form another team.

Roster Size

If a team roster reaches the maximum size set out in MMFA By-Law A6.05, players will be placed on a waiting list, and no fees will be collected. We encourage you to register even if roster spots aren’t available since this is the only way we can decide on a second team. If there is enough interest, a second team may be created, but this is at the club’s discretion and not necessarily based on reaching the MMFA minimum roster size. If a second team is not viable, players on the waiting list will be contacted if a spot opens up.

Fundraising and Volunteering

Fundraising plays a crucial role in supporting our club. Several fundraising opportunities are available throughout the season to help us continue providing an exciting experience for all players. Each family is encouraged to participate, but an option to opt-out is provided on the registration form. If you opt out, a flat fee of $200 will be added to the registration cost.

Volunteering is also essential to our club’s success. We need your help on game days to ensure everything runs smoothly and provides the best experience for the players. This can range from setting up or tearing down the field, helping in the canteen, selling 50/50 tickets, or assisting the officiating crew.

Football is affordable!

Registration costs include all equipment except for cleats (footwear) and mouthguards. For more information regarding playing or coaching football, please get in touch with us today.
